Evolved from Star shield at +10: half again its power, and one more defeat before it breaks.
What it does
- Goes in the shield slot.
- Power 24 (high quality: 36). On a weapon it raises your accuracy and max hit. On any other piece it raises your evasion and cuts the damage you take.
- Durability 5: it can survive 5 defeats. Gear only wears down when you are defeated. A damaged piece breaks if you unequip it.
- A high-quality piece gives 1.5 times each bonus, rounded down.
Reinforce
Reinforce it from +1 to +10 in the Bank, where it is made. Each level adds 5% of its power and chance to hit, so at +10 its power is 36. From +4 each level also uses Polishing grit.
Everything from +0 to +10: 28,600 coins, 55 Star bar and 29 Polishing grit.
Evolved from
Evolve 1 Star shield at +10 for 1,560 coins, 1 Star core and 5 Polishing grit. It comes out at +0, in the same quality.
Story
The star shield, reworked dark over the same ironwood core. Arrows stop in it with a thud.
