What it does

• Goes in the body slot.
• Power 8 (high quality: 12). On a weapon it raises your accuracy and max hit. On any other piece it raises your evasion and cuts the damage you take.
• Accuracy +2 points (high quality: 3).
• Durability 2: it can survive 2 defeats. Gear only wears down when you are defeated. A damaged piece breaks if you unequip it.
• A high-quality piece gives 1.5 times each bonus, rounded down.

Reinforce

Reinforce it from +1 to +10 in the Bank, where it is made. Each level adds 5% of its power and chance to hit, so at +10 its power is 12. From +4 each level also uses Bandit scrap.

Story

Leather boiled in wax until it is stiff. This body armour leaves the arms free to draw.
