A stair for the beacon

A Hard quest from Beacon keeper Rüzgar. It pays coins, Quarrying XP and an item. Like every quest, it is open from the start and you can complete it once.

Story

Rüzgar wants basalt for the beacon's new stairs. Quarry basalt 30,000 times, because the old stairs killed two keepers in one winter.

Once it is done

The new stairs are steep and solid. Rüzgar climbs them twice a night and still complains about his knees.
