Getting to 100%

The story ends when every place it needs is rebuilt. The game is finished at 100%: everything in the table below, 885 things in all. Nothing ever resets, so every hour counts toward it.

What counts

WhatHow many
Every place rebuilt, optional ones too21
Every skill at level 9919
Every activity at mastery 99370
Every item, at least once429
Every named enemy, beaten once6
Every quest, completed40

Level 99 takes 24,074,745 XP. Mastery uses the same curve, one mastery per activity. See mastery.

Played once by a simple computer player through the game's own rules, with the same luck. "Non-stop" checks in every 15 minutes; "Once a day" picks one activity a day and leaves. A player who plans better finishes sooner. Measured 2026-09-27.

Tips

  • Quests count from day one. Work done and enemies beaten count toward every quest from the start of the game, so many are nearly done when you first open them. See Quests.
  • Let each skill's mastery pool fill. When it reaches 10%, 25%, 50%, 95% of its size, every activity of that skill gets a bonus. Spending pool XP below a checkpoint turns that bonus off until the pool refills.
  • Rare drops are never out of reach. If a rare drop keeps missing, it drops anyway after 3 times the usual number of tries. See Drops.
  • Optional places count. The story does not need them; 100% does.
  • Leave long jobs for the night. A short visit can set up the next 8 hours: see Leaving the game overnight.
